Siegel zeros of Eisenstein series
نویسنده
چکیده
(m,n)6=(0,0) y |mz+n|2s is the nonholomorphic Eisenstein series on the upper half plane, then for all y sufficiently large, E(z, s) has a ”Siegel zero.” That is E(z, β) = 0 for a real number β just to the left of one. We give a generalization of this result to Eisenstein series formed with real valued automorphic forms on a finite central covering of the adele points of a connected reductive algebraic group over a global field. A Detailed Note on the Zeros of Eisenstein
The present paper is a detailed paper for the paper “On the zeros of Eisenstein series for Γ0(5) and Γ ∗ 0(7).” We locate almost all the zeros of the Eisenstein series associated with the Fricke groups Γ0(5) and Γ ∗ 0(7) in their fundamental domains by applying and expanding the method of F. K. C. Rankin and H. P. F. Swinnerton-Dyer (“On the zeros of Eisenstein series”, 1970). We also use the a...

We locate all of the zeros of the Eisenstein series associated with the Fricke groups Γ0(2) and Γ ∗ 0(3) in their fundamental domains by applying and expanding the method of F. K. C. Rankin and H. P. F. Swinnerton-Dyer (“On the zeros of Eisenstein series”, 1970).

We develop some of the finer details of the location of the zeros of the weight two Eisenstein series. These zeros are the same as the zeros of the derivative of the Ramanujan delta function.
